Yagana Usman Mustapha is a 13-year-old girl from a low-income family that struggles to afford proper medical care and relies on assistance for treatment. Despite her challenges, she enjoys drawing, helps care for her younger siblings, and dreams of becoming a doctor to serve children in her community. She presented with a 3-day history of high-grade fever, painful urination, lower abdominal pain, vomiting, weakness, and poor appetite, and appeared markedly lethargic. Examination showed fever, fast heart rate, mild low blood pressure, and suprapubic tenderness. Investigations confirmed a severe urinary tract infection complicated by sepsis. She was promptly started on intravenous antibiotics, fluid resuscitation, and supportive care, with close monitoring of her vital signs.

Yagana usman Mustapha, a 13-year-old teenager, presented with a 3 days history of,High grade fever,lower abdominal pain, dysuria, accompanied by bloody urine. After thorough evaluation and investigation, she was diagnosed with Severe Urinary tract infection. Due to the nature of her condition, she was admitted for 3 days,treated with antibiotics, rehydrated and pain medication to alleviate pain. Bagoni recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, she is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed her regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.
