Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Radha Rani, now 34+ weeks into her third pregnancy, is facing a high-risk condition as her baby is in a breech position, meaning the baby is positioned feet or bottom first instead of head down. In addition, she has oligohydramnios, which means there is a lower than normal amount of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby. This condition can increase the risk of complications during delivery and may affect the baby’s movement and well-being inside the womb. Due to these combined risks, she requires close medical supervision and careful planning for a safe delivery.

Background
Radha Rani is a caring and devoted 30-year-old mother who is now 34+ weeks into her third pregnancy, hoping for a safe delivery so she can continue caring for her family. She lives with her husband, a day laborer, and her elderly in-laws who are unable to work, making her husband the only earning member of the household with a very limited income. Recently, doctors at City Clinic diagnosed her pregnancy as high-risk because the baby is in a breech position with low amniotic fluid, requiring careful monitoring and possible surgical delivery—costs the family cannot afford. Despite her strength and positive spirit, the financial burden has left the family anxious and helpless. Without proper medical care, both Radha and her unborn baby could face serious, life-threatening complications during delivery, which is why she reached out to Helpster Charity after learning about it from Helpster Volunteer Sadika Rahman.
Medical history
The patient, Radha Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 25th February 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy3.0 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 01th March 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest option to ensure a controlled and secure delivery for both Radha and her baby. With timely surgery, the risks related to the breech position and low amniotic fluid can be carefully managed, greatly reducing the chances of birth complications and protecting the lives of both mother and child. A planned LUCS will help prevent prolonged labor, fetal distress, and possible injury during delivery. However, if proper treatment is not provided, there is a serious risk of obstructed labor, severe bleeding, or distress to the baby, which could become life-threatening. Early surgical intervention offers the best chance for a safe outcome and a healthy recovery for both mother and newborn.
