Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Sanjida Akhtar is a 12-year-old class six student who is known in her family as a bright, gentle girl who loves studying and helping her mother at home. She suddenly became seriously ill with severe diarrhea and abdominal pain, leaving her extremely weak and in need of urgent treatment. Her father, Bashir, a 44-year-old rickshaw puller earning only 8,000 taka a month, struggles to support the five family members, including Sanjida’s speech-impaired elder sister Sathi and her younger sister Sumaiya, making it impossible for the family to afford hospital expenses. They learned about Helpster through the doctors at Saheda Gafur Hospital when Sanjida was brought in for treatment. Without timely medical care, her severe dehydration could become life-threatening and put the young girl’s life at serious risk.
