He lives with his parents, younger brother, and elderly grandmother in a small tin house, where his father, Hossen Ali, is the only earning member with a monthly income of around 5000 BDT, making it difficult to afford necessary medical care. Despite his cheerful nature, Tamim is now seriously ill with typhoid fever, experiencing persistent fever, weakness, and breathing difficulty, which has affected his daily activities. Without timely treatment, his condition may worsen, leading to severe weakness, dehydration, and other serious health complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through CSDK staff and is seeking support to ensure Tamim receives proper treatment and recovers safely.

Tamim Ahmed was admitted to the hospital on 06 March 2026 after suffering from fever, cough, and cold for several days, which later worsened into weakness and breathing distress. After thorough medical examination and necessary tests, doctors diagnosed him with typhoid fever. He received proper medical treatment, medications, and close monitoring from the hospital’s medical team. With timely treatment and continuous care, Tamim’s condition gradually improved over the following days. He responded well to the medications, and his strength and breathing started to return to normal. He was discharged from the hospital on 11 March 2026 in stable condition. Tamim’s family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Help Star, its volunteers, and the hospital staff for their kind support and compassionate care, which played a vital role in his recovery.

With timely administration of parenteral antibiotics and supportive therapy, Tamim’s infection can be effectively controlled, leading to a gradual reduction in fever and improvement in his overall condition. Proper treatment will help restore his strength, improve appetite, and allow him to return to his normal daily activities, including school. With close monitoring and care, the chances of full recovery are very high. However, if left untreated, typhoid fever can worsen, leading to severe dehydration, prolonged illness, and serious complications such as intestinal damage or infection spreading in the body. In severe cases, it can become life-threatening and significantly impact his long-term health.
