Seven-month-old Krisno Roy is a gentle and curious baby who fills his small tin-made home with smiles, especially when he sees his parents, sister, and grandparents around him. His father is a day laborer and the only earning member of the six-member family, earning around 6000 BDT per month, which barely covers their daily food and basic needs, leaving no savings for medical treatment. Recently, Krisno became seriously ill with severe diarrhea (10–15 times a day), vomiting, and fever, and doctors at City Clinic diagnosed him with acute gastroenteritis and dehydration, a dangerous condition for such a young child. Living in a crowded slum area makes it difficult for his mother to maintain proper hygiene, and without immediate treatment his dehydration could worsen rapidly and threaten his life. Having previously received help through Helpster with the support of volunteer Sadika Rahman, the family has once again come forward with hope, seeking assistance so that little Krisno can recover and grow up healthy with his loving family.

Krisno Bormon is a 7-month-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory Acutr Gastroenteritis for the past few days. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at City Clinic. Krisno was admitted on 05/03/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 10/03/2026. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Krisno is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and City Clinic; we are forever grateful for your support!"

The doctor has advised that with prompt treatment, including intravenous fluids, oral rehydration, and supportive care, Krisno is expected to recover completely within a short period. Proper management will restore his fluid balance, reduce fever, and help him regain his strength, allowing him to continue his normal growth and development. Close monitoring in the hospital will also prevent further complications and ensure his safe recovery. However, if left untreated, ongoing dehydration may rapidly worsen, leading to weakness, reduced consciousness, and serious infection. In severe cases, untreated dehydration can become life-threatening for an infant of his age.
