Her husband, Abdul Barek, is the sole earning member, working as an agricultural day laborer with an uncertain monthly income of around 5,000 BDT, making it impossible for the family to afford urgent medical care. Despite her strong and selfless nature, Sajeda is now facing a high-risk pregnancy complication—oligohydramnios—which puts both her life and her unborn baby at serious risk. Without timely treatment, the baby may suffer from severe distress, lack of proper growth, or even loss, while Sajeda herself could face dangerous complications during delivery. The family learned about Helpster Charity through CSDK staff and is now seeking urgent support to ensure a safe outcome for both mother and child.

Sajeda Akter was admitted to the hospital on 12/03/2026 at 38 weeks of pregnancy due to complications from moderate oligohydramnios, which increased the risks during delivery. Considering the potential complications, doctors proceeded with a planned cesarean section (LUCS). The surgery was successfully performed, and a healthy baby was delivered safely. Following the operation, Sajeda received appropriate post-operative care, including medications, antibiotics, and nutritional support. Both mother and baby remained stable and showed steady improvement during their hospital stay. Within a few days, Sajeda was able to move comfortably and care for her newborn. She was discharged from the hospital on 15/03/2026 in good health. Sajeda and her family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the medical team for their compassionate support and timely intervention, which ensured a safe delivery and the well-being of both mother and child.

With timely LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section), Sajeda’s baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risks associated with low amniotic fluid and preventing fetal distress. This procedure will help ensure adequate oxygen supply to the baby and minimize complications during labor, giving both mother and child a strong chance of recovery. With proper post-operative care, Sajeda is expected to regain her strength and resume caring for her family. However, if left untreated, oligohydramnios can lead to severe fetal distress, poor growth, or even stillbirth. Delaying intervention may also expose the mother to life-threatening complications during delivery, putting both lives at serious risk.
