Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About diagnostics
Dipu Roy, a 7-year-old boy, has been diagnosed with bilateral hydrocele, a condition where fluid accumulates around both sides of the scrotum, causing persistent swelling and discomfort. In his case, the condition has progressed over time and is now causing significant pain and difficulty in daily activities. The continuous pressure and untreated swelling can lead to serious complications, including infection, increased pain, and damage to surrounding tissues. If not treated urgently, his condition may worsen further and can become life-threatening, severely affecting his health and future well-being.

Background
Dipu Roy, a gentle and polite 7-year-old boy, lives with his parents, brother, and grandparents in a small tin-shed house, where his father struggles to support the entire family on a very limited income as a day laborer. Despite his pain, Dipu remains soft-hearted and hopeful, dreaming of going to school regularly and helping his parents in the future. His condition, which started as mild swelling, has gradually worsened over the past two years, now causing ongoing pain and discomfort that limits his daily activities and play. The family cannot afford the necessary treatment due to their financial hardship and large household responsibilities. They came to know about Helpster through Sadika and are now seeking support, as without timely treatment, Dipu’s condition may worsen, leading to severe complications and serious risks to his health and future.
Medical history
The patient, Dipu Roy was admitted to City Clinic on 25th May 2026. A successful Hydrocelotomy operation was performed the same day. The child progressed well and were discharged on 29th June 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
Doctors have recommended hydrocelectomy on both sides, which is expected to relieve the swelling and eliminate the underlying problem completely. After the surgery, Dipu is likely to be free from pain and discomfort, allowing him to return to normal activities, attend school regularly, and live a healthy childhood. The procedure will also prevent future complications and improve his overall quality of life. However, if left untreated, the swelling may continue to increase, leading to severe pain, infection, and possible damage to surrounding structures. In advanced stages, these complications can become serious and may put his health at significant risk, making timely treatment essential.
