Muhammed is a 4 year old male child. He stays with his parents. Father is not working at the moment, mother is a petty trader. They are staying in a 2 rooms apartment, they have currently not settled the rent for the year completely due to lack of funds. The house has a pit toilet and they make use of well water. No access to electricity. Family income is N1000. Muhammed's symptoms dates back to birth with associated vomiting of ingested content or mucus. No fever, headache, sneezing, rhinorrhea and abdominal pain. Cough is dry and causes insomnia. He had all routine immunization vaccines. On examination, upper lymph nodes non tender, solitary bilaterally. He was diagnosed with cervical lymphadenopathy. The family couldn't afford to take the child to the hospital and they contacted Helpster Charity for assistance

Insomnia at night is 2o coughing. Had all routine immunization vaccines On examination, upper cervical lymph nodes, non-tender, solitary bilaterally He was diagnosed with cervical lymphadenopathy. Patient was admitted and treatment commenced with injection antibiotics and other supportive care until patient became stable. He was discharged with some take home orals to return for follow up in a week time. Family remains grateful for the medical support.

Isah is a 4-year-old boy with cervical lymphadenopathy, persistent nocturnal cough, and laboratory features suggestive of infection/inflammation (↑WBC, lymphocytosis, monocytosis, ↑ESR), with background concern for possible thalassemia trait. Generally favorable, given stable vital signs (SpO₂ 97%, moderate fever only) and absence of respiratory distress. Likely reactive or infective etiology, which should respond well to appropriate antimicrobial and supportive therapy. Symptoms such as cough and lymph node enlargement are expected.
