Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Jaifa Akter is a gentle and innocent 13-month-old baby living with her parents and grandparents in a financially struggling family. Her father, Zulfikar Ali, earns only around 7,000 BDT per month as a daily laborer, which is not enough to support the family’s basic needs, making medical treatment unaffordable for them. Despite her young age, Jaifa is a cheerful child, but her sudden illness has made her weak and vulnerable. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a hospital doctor and volunteer Abdur Rahman, giving them hope during this difficult time. Without timely treatment, her severe dehydration could quickly become life-threatening, leading to shock, organ failure, or even death, putting her fragile life at serious risk.

These treatments will help restore her lost fluids, maintain nutrition, and stabilize her condition, allowing her strength to gradually return. Careful monitoring will ensure that any complications are detected early and managed effectively, supporting her overall recovery and normal growth. However, if left untreated, severe dehydration can rapidly become life-threatening. It may lead to shock, organ failure, and severe weakness, which can be fatal in a young child. Early and proper medical care is therefore essential to save her life and ensure a healthy recovery.
