Baby of Irin Akter is a 6 days male old newborn to Mr. Abu Syed and Irin Akter, he now lies in the NICU, he is now in the NICU struggling to breathe. He was born early with a low birth weight, and within a few hours he developed serious breathing problems, bluish discoloration, and difficulty feeding. His father earns only about 8,000 BDT per month as a daily laborer and hawker, while his mother is unwell, and they live in a small rented house with two other young children aged 9 and 7, making it impossible for them to afford treatment. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through Dr. Riad, a kind doctor who previously worked at Olympus Hospital. Without urgent medical care, the baby’s condition could quickly worsen and become life-threatening.

The newborn baby of Irin Akter began his fight for life when he was admitted to the NICU on 31-03-2026, where he received urgent and intensive care for his critical condition. During the first 6 days in the NICU, doctors closely monitored him, providing oxygen support, medications to control convulsions, and necessary treatments to stabilize his breathing and overall health. Although his condition was initially very critical, he gradually began to show signs of improvement. After stabilization, he was shifted to the ward, where he stayed for the next 9 days under continued medical care and observation. With each passing day, his condition improved further—his breathing became stable, convulsions subsided, and he started responding well to treatment. Finally, on 15-04-2026, he was discharged from the hospital in a much better condition, bringing immense relief and hope to his worried family.

The doctor explained that with immediate NICU care, including oxygen support, close monitoring, and appropriate medications, the baby’s condition can gradually stabilize and improve over time. Early and proper treatment can help control the infection, support breathing, and reduce the risk of long-term complications, giving the baby a chance to recover and grow normally. Continuous observation will allow doctors to respond quickly to any changes and adjust treatment as needed. However, if the baby does not receive timely and adequate care, the condition may rapidly worsen, leading to severe breathing failure, worsening infection, or damage to vital organs such as the brain. This could result in permanent complications or even become life-threatening.
