Most. Morsida Begum has been diagnosed with a breech presentation, a condition in which the fetus is positioned in the uterus with its buttocks or feet pointing downward instead of the usual head-down position. Due to these complications, the fetus is at risk of fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, birth trauma such as brachial plexus injury, and head entrapment, requiring immediate medical intervention to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby.

Background
Most. Morsheda Begum, a calm and hopeful 25-year-old woman, is facing a critical stage of pregnancy while living with her husband and elderly mother-in-law in very poor conditions, where her husband’s small income as a day laborer is not enough to meet basic needs, making it impossible to afford her treatment. She is currently 35 weeks pregnant and has been suffering from lower abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, weakness, and anemia, while her baby is not in a normal position, making the delivery risky. Despite her past loss and current suffering, she remains strong and hopeful for a safe delivery. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a health worker and is now seeking support during this difficult time. Without proper and timely medical care, both mother and baby could face serious and life-threatening complications during childbirth.
Medical history
Most. Morsida Begum was admitted to the hospital on 09.04.2026 at 35 weeks of pregnancy with a breech presentation. Considering the condition and associated risks, the medical team decided to perform a Lower Segment Caesarean Section (LSCS) on the same day. The operation was conducted successfully, and a healthy baby was delivered safely. After the surgery, both mother and baby were kept under close observation, where she received proper medical management, including medications, pain control, fluid support, and regular monitoring. Attentive nursing care, along with guidance on breastfeeding and newborn care, helped ensure her steady recovery. Over the following days, her condition improved, with stable vital signs and proper healing of the surgical wound. By 12.04.2026, she had recovered well and was discharged from the hospital in a stable and secure condition along with her baby.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section) as the safest option to ensure a controlled and secure delivery for both mother and baby. With timely surgery, Morsheda Begum is expected to safely deliver her baby, reducing the risks associated with her current condition and previous complications. The procedure will help prevent excessive bleeding, protect the baby from distress, and improve the chances of a healthy outcome for both. However, if left untreated or delayed, her condition may lead to severe complications during labor, including heavy bleeding, danger to the baby, or even loss of life. Timely surgical intervention is therefore essential to protect both mother and child and ensure a safe delivery.
