Lavly Begum is a kind and hardworking housewife from a low-income family. She lives with her husband, who works as a day laborer with a very limited income, and their two young children. Their earnings are only enough to manage basic daily needs, making it impossible for them to afford the cost of medical care for her current pregnancy. Lavly Begum was admitted to the hospital on March 31, 2026, with a diagnosis of breech presentation. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn remained in good condition and were discharged on April 4th, 2026. With timely LUCS, the baby can be delivered safely, greatly reducing the risk of birth injury, oxygen deprivation, or fetal distress, while also protecting the mother from prolonged or obstructed labor. This procedure will give both mother and child a strong chance at a healthy recovery and a normal life after delivery. However, if the condition is left untreated and labor progresses naturally, the baby may suffer serious complications such as trauma, asphyxia, or even death. The mother could also face life-threatening risks including severe bleeding, uterine rupture, or infection.
