Krisna Rani is now 30+ weeks into her 2nd pregnancy, is facing a high-risk condition as her baby is in a breech position with mild oligohydrominious , meaning the baby is positioned feet or bottom first instead of head down. In addition, she has oligohydramnios, which means there is a lower than normal amount of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby. This condition can increase the risk of complications during delivery and may affect the baby’s movement and well-being inside the womb. Due to these combined risks, she requires close medical supervision and careful planning for a safe delivery.

Background
Krisna Rani is a gentle and devoted 20-year-old pregnant woman who dreams of a safe delivery while caring for her husband and elderly in-laws, who are fully dependent on the family. Her husband, a day laborer earning around 5000 BDT per month, is the only source of income, making it impossible for them to afford the specialized care she urgently needs. Despite her strong and responsible nature, Krisna is now facing serious pregnancy complications, including low amniotic fluid and a breech-positioned baby, which place both her life and her unborn child at high risk. Without timely medical intervention, she may experience life-threatening complications during delivery, and the baby could face severe distress or even death. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika Rahman and is now seeking support to ensure a safe outcome for both mother and child.
Medical history
The patient,Krisna Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 16th April 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 20th April 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest option to ensure a controlled and secure delivery for both Krisna and her baby. With timely surgery, the risks related to the breech position and low amniotic fluid can be carefully managed, greatly reducing the chances of birth complications and protecting the lives of both mother and child. A planned LUCS will help prevent prolonged labor, fetal distress, and possible injury during delivery. However, if proper treatment is not provided, there is a serious risk of obstructed labor, severe bleeding, or distress to the baby, which could become life-threatening. Early surgical intervention offers the best chance for a safe outcome and a healthy recovery for both mother and newborn.
