Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About immune system

Alfas has been diagnosed with acute appendicitis, a serious condition where the appendix becomes inflamed and causes severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Doctors have advised that surgical removal of the appendix is the definitive treatment to prevent complications. If left untreated, the inflamed appendix may rupture, leading to dangerous infections inside the abdomen. Timely surgery is essential to relieve his pain and ensure a full recovery.

Background

Alfas Islam is a gentle and kind 10-year-old boy who lives with his family of six in a small tin-made house, where his father struggles to support everyone with a monthly income of only 6,000 BDT. This limited income is barely enough for daily survival, making the cost of surgery completely unaffordable for the family. Despite his pain, Alfas remains hopeful and dreams of continuing his education and building a better future for his family. His family has reached out to Helpster through Sadika Rahman, hoping for support in this critical time. Without timely surgery, his acute appendicitis could become life-threatening, leading to rupture, severe infection, and serious risk to his life.
