Eti parvin is now 30+ weeks into her 2nd pregnancy, is facing a high-risk condition as her baby is in a breech position with mild oligohydrominious , meaning the baby is positioned feet or bottom first instead of head down. In addition, she has oligohydramnios, which means there is a lower than normal amount of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby. This condition can increase the risk of complications during delivery and may affect the baby’s movement and well-being inside the womb. Due to these combined risks, she requires close medical supervision and careful planning for a safe delivery.

Background
Eti Parvin is a gentle and caring 20-year-old mother living with her husband and elderly in-laws, where her husband’s small income of only 6,000 BDT per month as a day laborer is not enough to support the family or afford medical treatment. With her in-laws unable to work, the family depends entirely on this limited income, making emergency care beyond their reach. Despite her difficult obstetric history, Eti remains hopeful and strong, dreaming of a safe delivery and a healthy baby while caring for her family. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika Rahman, giving them a chance to seek help during this critical time. Without timely treatment, her condition with low amniotic fluid and breech presentation could become life-threatening, leading to serious complications during delivery and putting both mother and baby at great risk.
Medical history
The patient,Eti Parvinwas admitted to City Clinic on 26th June 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 2.5 kg female baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 1th July 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) is a life-saving procedure for Eti Parvin in this condition. With timely surgery, the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risks associated with breech presentation and low amniotic fluid, and preventing further complications. After the operation, Eti is expected to recover well with proper care, and her baby has a strong chance of survival and good health. However, if left untreated, her condition could become life-threatening. The combination of breech position and oligohydramnios may lead to obstructed labor, severe fetal distress, or loss of the baby, while the mother may face serious complications such as excessive bleeding or infection. Immediate surgical intervention is therefore essential to save both lives.
