Al Mubin is a cheerful and determined 6-year-old boy living in a remote hilly border area with his large family of eight siblings, where daily life is full of hardship and limited opportunities. With no stable source of income and relying mostly on relatives for support, his parents struggle to provide even basic needs, making medical treatment beyond their reach. Despite his difficult life, Mubin remains hopeful and dreams of becoming like Lionel Messi, showing courage even while suffering from pain. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a volunteer, Md. Younus, which gave them hope for treatment. Without proper care, his fractured arm could heal incorrectly, leading to permanent deformity, loss of function, and long-term disability, affecting his future and ability to live a normal life.

Mohammad Mubin, a 6-year-old boy, was admitted to Orion Hospital on 03.04.2026 through Helpster volunteer Abu Sayeed following a traumatic injury to his left forearm. He presented with pain, tenderness, and difficulty moving his hand and wrist. After clinical assessment and necessary investigations, he was diagnosed with a closed diaphyseal fracture of the left radius and ulna. He was treated according to standard orthopedic protocols with analgesia and supportive care. Closed reduction was successfully performed under appropriate sedation, followed by immobilization with an above-elbow POP cast to maintain proper alignment and support healing. His condition remained stable throughout hospitalization, and he was discharged on 05.04.2026 after a 2-day stay with follow-up advice. Follow-up included clinical assessment and repeat X-ray to monitor alignment and healing, followed by reassessment for possible cast removal and rehabilitation guidance. All treatment expenses were fully supported by Helpster Charity. Mubin’s family sincerely appreciates Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the Orion Hospital team for their compassionate support and care.

With timely hospitalization, proper reduction of the fracture, and immobilization with a Plaster of Paris cast, Mubin has a very good chance of complete recovery. The treatment will allow the broken bones to heal in correct alignment, helping him regain full movement and strength in his arm. Regular follow-up and rehabilitation will further support his return to normal activities, including school and play. However, if left untreated, the fracture may heal improperly, leading to permanent deformity, weakness, and limited movement of the arm. This could affect his ability to perform daily tasks and impact his future growth and development. In severe cases, complications such as chronic pain or long-term disability may occur, significantly affecting his quality of life.
