Mohammad Hossain is a polite and gentle 12-year-old boy who lives with his parents, elder brother, and grandmother in fragile conditions without a permanent home. His father earns only about 7,000 BDT per month from a hosiery job, which is not enough to support the family or cover ongoing medical expenses, making treatment unaffordable for them. Over the past year, Hossain has suffered from repeated throat infections, and his condition has now worsened into severe adeno-tonsillitis with persistent fever and pain, leaving him weak and distressed. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a volunteer, Masud Rana, and sought help in this difficult situation. Without proper treatment, his condition may lead to serious complications such as breathing problems, recurrent infections, and long-term health issues, making timely medical care essential for his recovery.

Mohammad Hossain was admitted to the hospital on 07-04-2026 with complaints of severe sore throat, high fever, cough, cold, and difficulty in breathing associated with recurrent throat infections. After admission, he underwent clinical evaluation and was diagnosed with acute adeno-tonsillitis with enlarged adenoids and tonsils due to repeated infections. During hospitalization, he received intravenous medications, antibiotics, antipyretics, nebulization, and supportive treatment including fluids and monitoring of vital signs. His condition gradually improved with treatment, and the fever and throat pain became relatively controlled. After clinical improvement and medical advice, he was discharged from the hospital on 08-04-2026 with prescribed medications and follow-up instructions.

The doctor has advised adenotonsillectomy as the most effective treatment to permanently resolve Jubaida’s recurrent infections and breathing difficulties. With successful surgery, her frequent sore throats, fever, and airway obstruction are expected to significantly improve, allowing her to eat, sleep, and study comfortably. She will likely experience better overall health, improved concentration in school, and a reduced need for repeated antibiotics. However, if left untreated, the enlarged and infected tonsils and adenoids may continue to cause repeated severe infections, worsening breathing problems, and possible complications affecting her ears or lungs. In severe cases, untreated airway obstruction and infection can become life-threatening, making timely surgical intervention essential for her well-being and future.
