Geeta Rani is a polite and caring 30-year-old mother who lives with her husband and young daughter in unsafe and fragile conditions without a permanent home. Her husband earns only about 8,000 BDT per month as a carpenter, which barely covers daily expenses, leaving the family with no savings to afford emergency medical care. As her pregnancy reached 37 weeks, she developed serious complications due to low amniotic fluid, putting both her life and her unborn baby at risk. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a volunteer, Masud Rana, and sought urgent support in this critical situation. Without immediate surgery, both mother and child could face life-threatening complications, making timely treatment essential for their survival.

Geeta Rani was admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic on 01/04/2026 as a 37-week pregnant patient with a diagnosis of oligohydramnios, a high-risk obstetric condition. On admission, she was thoroughly evaluated with necessary clinical examinations and investigations, and both maternal and fetal conditions were closely monitored. Considering the severity of oligohydramnios and the potential risks to both mother and baby, the attending doctors decided to proceed with an emergency Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) under spinal anesthesia to ensure a safe delivery. The operation was successfully performed, resulting in the safe delivery of the baby without any immediate complications. Post-operatively, the patient received proper medical care, monitoring, and supportive treatment. Her recovery was satisfactory, and her condition gradually improved. She was discharged from the hospital on 04/04/2026 in stable condition after appropriate post-operative management and follow-up advice.

The doctor explained that with timely LUCS (cesarean section), the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risks associated with low amniotic fluid and protecting both the mother and the child. This procedure will help prevent complications during labor and ensure that the baby receives immediate care after birth if needed. With proper surgical care and post-operative monitoring, Geeta has a good chance of recovery and the baby can grow and develop normally.
