Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Ishrat Jahan Mim is a calm and innocent 1.4-year-old girl living with her parents and two brothers in a small tin house, where her father, Luthfur Rahman, is the only earning member with a modest income of around 7,000 BDT. With five family members depending on this limited income, it is very difficult for the family to afford necessary medical treatment. Despite her gentle nature, Mim is now seriously ill with severe pneumonia, causing breathing difficulty, fever, and distress. Without timely treatment, her condition could rapidly worsen, leading to severe respiratory complications and life-threatening outcomes. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema and is now seeking urgent support to ensure her recovery.
