Md. Yusuf is a 1.5-month-old infant diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) complicated by pneumonia, requiring continuous medical care and close monitoring. He lives with his parents and three siblings in a low-income family in rural Rangpur, where his father is the sole earner with a monthly income of approximately 4,000 BDT, making it impossible to afford the high cost of treatment. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a pediatric cardiology specialist and later received guidance and support from Dr. Syed Arpon Rahman and Md. Abu Hanif. Despite ongoing hospital care, Yusuf remains in a critical condition and requires uninterrupted treatment for survival. Without timely and adequate medical support, his condition may deteriorate further, leading to life-threatening complications.

Careful fluid management ensured proper hydration and electrolyte balance, and the medical team closely monitored his vital signs and response to treatment throughout his stay. Over the 6-day period, his condition gradually improved: his breathing became easier, oxygen levels stabilized, and he became more active and alert. He is now in a relatively healthy state, feeding better and showing signs of normal growth. He continues to be on regular follow-up to ensure complete recovery and proper development.

Doctors have advised that Md. Yusuf requires continuous medical management, close monitoring, and possibly advanced cardiac care depending on the progression of his Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). With proper and timely treatment, including respiratory support, infection control, and follow-up cardiac evaluation, his condition can gradually stabilize. Effective treatment will help improve his breathing, support proper oxygen supply to the body, and allow normal growth and development over time.
