Background
Nay Missah is a fun-loving active and confident girl. She would like to be a civil engineer when she grows up. She likes singing and dancing, and is a member of their church choir. She presented to the hospital with abdominal pain which was burning in sensation and also had loss of appetite; vomiting after eating any meals.
Medical history

She came to the hospital with a burning abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and vomiting after meals. She was diagnosed with peptic ulcer disease and was promptly started on medication. She is now doing well.
Prognosis
Treating peptic ulcer disease generally involves a combination of medications to reduce stomach acid and, if applicable, eradicate Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. An untreated ulcer can burn through the wall of the stomach or small intestine, causing a serious, life-threatening infection in the abdominal cavity (peritonitis).
