Rekha Moni is a 21-year-old woman, gravida 2, currently at 37+ weeks of gestation with a single live fetus in breech presentation. Her previous pregnancy ended in abortion. Over the past few days, she has been experiencing lower abdominal discomfort, which may be associated with late-pregnancy strain and could indicate early labor. After USG, she was found breech presentation which indicates that the fetus is not in the head-down position, increasing the risk of complications during vaginal delivery. Therefore, she requires close medical supervision and appropriate delivery planning to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby.

Background
Rekha Moni is a caring and resilient 21-year-old mother living with her husband and young daughter in a financially struggling household, where her husband’s income as a day laborer is barely enough to meet daily needs. With such limited resources, it is impossible for them to afford the cost of medical treatment for her current pregnancy. Despite her hardships and past loss, Rekha remains hopeful and devoted to her family, dreaming of safely welcoming a healthy baby. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Dr. Lavlu and received support after assessment by Bablu Abdullah, giving them a chance to seek proper care. Without timely treatment, her breech pregnancy with ongoing symptoms could become life-threatening, leading to serious complications during delivery and putting both mother and baby at great risk.
Medical history
Rekha Moni was admitted to the hospital on April 19, 2026 with a diagnosis of 37 Weeks pregnancy and Breech presentation. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn remained in good condition and were discharged on April 23, 2026. Upon discharge, husband and mother-in-law came to the hospital to receive both the mother and the newborn. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their dedicated treatment and continuous support throughout the process. Rekha Moni's husband was especially thankful to Helpster for providing crucial financial assistance during the treatment.
Prognosis
Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) is a life-saving procedure for Rekha Moni in this condition. With timely surgery, the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risks associated with breech presentation and preventing further complications. After the operation, Rekha is expected to recover well with proper care, and her baby has a strong chance of being healthy and stable. However, if left untreated, her condition could become life-threatening. The breech position and ongoing symptoms may lead to obstructed labor, severe bleeding, or fetal distress, increasing the risk of loss of the baby and serious harm to the mother. Immediate surgical intervention is therefore essential to save both lives.
