Devraj Sharma is a cheerful and innocent 3-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a pilot and brings hope and happiness to his struggling family despite their difficult life. He lives with his parents and sibling in a small broken shelter where his father works as a rickshaw puller with uncertain daily income, making it impossible to afford costly emergency treatment and medicines. When Devraj suddenly became seriously ill with severe diarrhea, high fever, dehydration, weakness, and constant abdominal pain, his terrified parents watched helplessly as he cried continuously and became weaker with each passing hour. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abu Sayeed, the family sought urgent medical support, where doctors diagnosed him with acute watery diarrhea with severe dehydration along with dengue fever. Without urgent treatment and close medical care, his condition may worsen rapidly and lead to severe dehydration, shock, organ failure, and life-threatening complications.

Dev Raj, a 3-year-old child, was admitted to Orion Hospital on 21.04.2026 through Helpster volunteer Abu Sayeed with severe watery diarrhea, high fever, weakness, dehydration, and severe abdominal pain causing continuous crying and restlessness. After medical evaluation and investigations, doctors diagnosed him with Acute Watery Diarrhea with severe dehydration along with Dengue Fever. He received urgent hospitalization, intravenous fluids, medicines, close monitoring, and supportive treatment for three days. With timely medical care and support from Helpster Charity, his condition gradually improved, and he was discharged in stable condition on 24.04.2026 with medications and follow-up advice. The family expressed sincere gratitude to Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the hospital team for saving the child’s life.

With immediate hospitalization and proper treatment, including fluid and electrolyte correction, the child’s condition is expected to improve significantly, with stabilization of hydration status and reduction of symptoms. Continuous monitoring and supportive care will help manage fever, pain, and prevent further complications related to both diarrhea and dengue fever. Early intervention greatly reduces the risk of life-threatening outcomes and supports a full recovery. However, if left untreated, severe dehydration can lead to shock, organ failure, and even death. Additionally, untreated dengue infection may progress to more serious forms, increasing the risk of bleeding complications and further deterioration of the child’s condition.
