Desmond is the youngest child in a family of four children and lives with his parents in a small two-room mud house. Desmond has been unwell, experiencing recurrent episodes of fever and convulsions almost every month. He was first taken to a nearby dispensary for initial management, but due to the recurring nature of his illness, he was referred to Siaya County Referral Hospital for further evaluation and specialized treatment. At the dispensary, the family was informed about Helpster Charity, which supports vulnerable patients, and they were encouraged to seek assistance as they proceeded to the referral hospital for his care.

Desmond was admitted in paediatric ward after experiencing recurrent episode's of fever and convulsions on a monthly basis.He has been managed well.Desmond received IV cefftrizone 900mg,I've artesonate 54mg,P.O AL11 Tab.BD 3/7,flagellation 135mg TDS 5/7 and PCM and transfused. He responded well to treatment and was eventually discharged on orals. A call to the parent revealed he was doing well and was back to playing with his friends
