Mrs. Jakia is a 23-year-old gentle and hopeful pregnant woman who lives with her husband in a rented house after losing all their land and home to river erosion. Her husband earns only about 8,500 BDT per month as a security guard, which barely covers their daily needs, leaving them unable to afford the urgent surgery required for her high-risk pregnancy. Having already suffered two previous miscarriages, this pregnancy is very precious to the family, but her condition has become critical with reduced fetal movement and high blood pressure. They came to know about Helpster Charity through a community outreach program led by volunteers Anwar Hossain Anu and Meghlal Roy and sought help in this desperate situation. Without immediate treatment, there is a high risk of losing the baby and serious complications that could endanger the mother’s life, making urgent support essential for their survival.

Mrs. Jakia was admitted to the hospital on 01.04.2026 as a third gravida (Gravida-3), para-0 patient. According to her last menstrual period (LMP), it was a post-dated pregnancy. She was admitted with complaints of reduced fetal movement, severe swelling in both legs, and high blood pressure. The doctors quickly evaluated her condition and prepared her for surgery on the same day. She successfully underwent an operation (LUCS), through which she delivered a baby boy. Following the surgery, she received necessary treatment, monitoring, and medical guidance for recovery. After staying in the hospital for 4 days, the condition of both mother and baby gradually improved, and she was discharged on 04.04.2026 in stable condition with advice for follow-up and further care. Mrs. Zakia and her family express their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity and its dedicated volunteers, especially Anowar Hossain Anu and Meghlal Roy, for their timely support and assistance, which meant a lot to them. They are also deeply thankful to the hospital and medical team for their care, compassion, and sincere efforts, through which Mrs. Zakia was able to recover and regain hope for a healthy future.

The doctor explained that with timely LUCS (cesarean section) and specialized medical care, the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risks associated with prolonged pregnancy and high blood pressure. This intervention will help protect both the mother and the child, especially considering her previous miscarriages and the current complications. With proper treatment and close monitoring, there is a strong chance of a healthy outcome for both mother and baby. However, if left untreated, the condition may lead to serious complications such as loss of the baby inside the womb and life-threatening risks for the mother due to uncontrolled high blood pressure. Delayed intervention could also result in severe complications during labor.
