Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About nervous system
Md. Saimul Haq has been diagnosed with Acute Stroke Syndrome is a serious medical condition that happens when blood flow to a part of the brain is reduced or blocked. When this occurs, brain cells do not get enough oxygen and start to get damaged. It can lead to sudden weakness or paralysis of one side of the body, difficulty in movement, and sometimes problems with speech or balance. This condition requires urgent medical attention to prevent permanent damage. With proper and timely treatment, recovery is possible, but delays can lead to long-term complications.

Background
Md. Samiul Haq, a 7-year-old boy, lives with his parents, elder brother (12), aunt, and elderly grandparents in Market Bihari Camp, where the family survives on very low and unstable income from his father’s labor work and his aunt’s small earnings. Despite these hardships, Samiul is a gentle and innocent child who depends entirely on his family for care and support. Recently, he became seriously ill with fever, cough, and weakness on the right side of his body, which led to his admission and diagnosis of acute stroke syndrome. Due to extreme financial hardship, his family is unable to afford the cost of treatment and necessary care. They learned about Helpster Charity through an outreach program on 7 April 2026 and sought help, as without urgent treatment, his condition may worsen, leading to permanent disability or even life-threatening complications.
Medical history
The patient was admitted to the hospital on 7th April with fever, cough, and sudden weakness on the right side of the body. After proper medical evaluation, the condition was diagnosed as Acute Stroke Syndrome, and immediate treatment was started. During the hospital stay, the patient received conservative management, medicines, and supportive care under close observation. Gradually, the patient’s condition became stable, and some improvement in symptoms was noticed. After continuous treatment and monitoring, the patient was discharged on 12th April with advice for further medication and follow-up for full recovery.
Prognosis
With timely hospitalization, supportive care, and close monitoring, Md. Samiul Haq has a good chance to recover gradually and regain strength on the affected side of his body. Proper treatment can improve his neurological function and help him return to normal daily activities while reducing the risk of long-term disability. However, if left untreated, his condition may worsen, leading to permanent weakness or paralysis and developmental delays. It may also cause further brain damage and serious complications, which can become life-threatening. Therefore, timely medical care is essential for his recovery and future well-being.
