Md. Yasin Hossain is a 7-year-old boy living in a small, fragile room at Mohammadpur Market Camp with his father, Washim Ashrafi, a day laborer earning approximately 9,000 BDT per month, his mother Tumpa Moni, and his 3-year-old sister Kayanaat Akter. Despite financial hardship, Yasin is a cheerful child who studies in Class 1 and dreams of becoming a cricketer. His family came to know about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach program held on 07 April 2026 at Central Market Bihari Camp. For the past two years, Yasin has been suffering from repeated throat infections and breathing difficulties, which recently worsened with high fever and severe pain, and he now requires surgical treatment. Due to their limited income and daily living expenses, the family is unable to afford the treatment, and without timely care, his condition may worsen, leading to serious breathing problems and long-term health complications.

Yasin Hossain’s journey toward recovery began when he was admitted to Al Manar Hospital on 07-04-2026. Upon admission, the doctors carefully evaluated his condition and confirmed that he needed a surgical procedure to treat his adenotonsillitis. On 09-04-2026, Yasin underwent a successful operation, and though he was initially weak and frightened, the care and support from the medical team helped him feel safe. In the days following the surgery, his condition gradually improved—his pain reduced, he was able to swallow more comfortably, and his fever subsided. For the first time in many days, Yasin could sleep peacefully without discomfort. On 11-04-2026, he was finally discharged from the hospital with a hopeful smile, returning home to his family who had been anxiously waiting for his recovery. This journey marked a new beginning for Yasin, giving him the chance to return to his studies and chase his dream

Adenotonsillectomy under general anesthesia is expected to significantly improve Yasin’s health and quality of life. Following the procedure, his breathing will become easier, especially during sleep, and the frequency of throat infections and fever is likely to reduce.
