Nur Mohammad, a 12-year-old boy, lives with his parents, younger sister (7), and elderly grandparents (65 and 60) in a crowded household in CCR Bihari Camp, where his father is the only earner with a modest income of 9,000 BDT, making it difficult to meet daily needs and afford medical care. Despite these challenges, Nur is a gentle and hardworking student who cares deeply for his family. He became seriously ill with prolonged fever, vomiting, and weakness, and was diagnosed with pharyngotonsillitis, requiring proper treatment. His parents are worried but unable to bear the cost due to financial hardship. They learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach program and sought help, as without timely treatment, his condition may worsen, leading to severe infection and complications affecting his health.
Medical history
Nur Mohammad was admitted to the hospital on 07-04-2026 in a weak and distressed condition due to Pharyngotonsillitis. In the first few days, he received careful medical attention, including medications, fluids, and proper monitoring, as he struggled with fever, vomiting, and throat pain. Gradually, his condition began to improve—his fever subsided, he started eating a little, and his strength slowly returned. The doctors and caregivers closely observed his recovery, ensuring he responded well to the treatment. By 13-04-2026, Nur Mohammad had recovered enough to be discharged, He left hospital with joy and happiness.
Prognosis
With timely hospitalization, parenteral antibiotics, and supportive therapy, Nur Mohammad is expected to recover as the infection is controlled and his symptoms improve.
