Muhammad A., 14

Muhammad is a 14 year old boy from a poor family where healthcare access is often a great challenge due to financial constraints. His family depends on unstable income, and medical care is usually sought only when symptoms become severe. He is physically active and helps with daily family activities. Muhammad is a secondary school student and he dream of becoming a law enforcement officer in the future. He was referred to our health family by their community leader who often refer patients to UMD, he is experiencing progressive lower abdominal pain and burning sensation, initially mild but worsening over time. This was also associated with suprapubic discomfort, and occasional interruption of urine flow and straining. Symptoms persisted for weeks, affecting his daily activities. Due to worsening discomfort, he was eventually brought to UMD. He was seen, evaluated and diagnosed with bladder stone. He is planned for elective surgery for the extraction of the stone upon approval by Helpster charity foundation.

MOHAMMED,a 15 year-old teenager, presented with a history of Oliguria ,dysuria, accompanied by lower back pain. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Cystolithiasis(bladder stone).He underwent successful Cystolithotomy surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care. Mohammed recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.

Ali is diagnosed with bladder stone causing pain and significant discomfort. The patient will be admitted for elective surgery, followed by post-operative treatment including antibiotics, painkillers, and fluid hydration, as the stone is too large to dissolve or pass through the urine outlet. The prognosis is good, with a prompt and successful surgery and discharge within 3 days, given the child's current medical stability. This will significantly relieve his symptoms and avert potential complications.
