Complex ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac in the ovary that contains solid components. It may arise from hormonal imbalance, infection, or neoplastic processes. Symptoms include abdominal pain, fullness, and menstrual irregularities. Some cysts may rupture or undergo torsion. If untreated, complications can occur depending on the nature of the cyst. Management may be conservative or surgical.

Background
Falmata is a 19 year old young woman from a low socioeconomic background. Her father is a farmer but Her mother is a trader. She is one of five siblings. Financial constraints limit their access to healthcare services and largely depends on humanitarian support. She is very active as she always help her parent with domestic activities..She aspires to become a fashion designer in the future so that she can make some money to support her family. A case referred from a nearby facility with a diagnosis of Complex Ovarian cyst,Presented with the history of illness which started with progressive abdominal mass and pelvic pain,and lower abdominal discomfort since 3 months. Over time, the pain became more noticeable and persistent.They have seen doctors in another facilities and advised for surgery but didn't believe,they resorted to herbal medication and prayer but symptoms persisted.Now she is experiencing abdominal fullness and occasional menstrual irregularities. As discomfort increased, she was brought to UMD for treatment.Financial difficulty led her to seek for Helpster charity foundation assistance to pay for her surgery bills. She was planned for surgery.
Medical history
FALMATA, an 19-year-old female, was referred to our facility with Complex Ovarian cyst which was also confirmed in UMD.After thorough evaluation and investigation, she underwent ovarian cystectomy. The surgery was successful without immediate complications. Due to the nature of her sickness, she was admitted for 5 days for close monitoring and treatment.She recovered well and was discharged home after 5 days, with follow-up care scheduled for 1 week. Currently, Falmata is doing well, has recovered, and has resumed regular activities. We sincerely appreciate Helpster charity foundation for the free medical services.
Prognosis
She was evaluated to have Complex Ovarian cyst which causes pain and abdominal discomfort affecting her daily life activities in assisting her parent. She was planned for urgent surgery to remove the cyst and relieve her symptoms. She is expected to have a successful surgery as FALMATA past medical history is unremarkable. Both FALMATA and her parent will be happy if the surgery is conducted in a very short time.
