Background
Most. Golapi is a calm and devoted 21-year-old mother of three, living in a fragile home with her husband, children, and constant financial struggle. Her husband, Md. Moynul, earns only around 6,000 BDT per month as an auto driver, which is not enough to support five family members or cover medical expenses. Despite her pain, Golapi remains strong and caring, always prioritizing her children’s well-being and dreaming of a better future for them. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a community outreach program, giving them hope for treatment. Without proper care, her gallstone condition could worsen, leading to severe pain, infection, blockage, or even life-threatening complications, putting her health and ability to care for her children at serious risk.
Medical history
Most. Golapi was admitted to the hospital on 09.07.2026 after being diagnosed with cholelithiasis (gallstones). She underwent a successful laparoscopic cholecystectomy (lap chole) on the same day, performed by Dr. Rezaul Karim with anesthesia administered by Dr. Anik. Following the surgery, she received appropriate medical management, continuous monitoring, and attentive nursing care, which supported a smooth recovery. Her condition improved steadily, and she remained stable throughout her hospital stay. After recovering well, she was discharged in a safe and secure condition on 12.07.2026.
Prognosis
The recommended treatment for Golapi is a laparoscopic cholecystectomy to remove the gallbladder stones and prevent complications. With timely surgery and proper care, she is expected to recover well and return to a normal life. However, if treatment is delayed, it can lead to complications such as pancreatitis and cholangitis, and it may also cause blockage of the bile duct, which can be serious and life-threatening.
