Over time, her foot deformity and bowing of legs worsened due to nutritional rickets, and she also suffered an elbow injury, further limiting her movement. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp organized in Market Camp, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and sought support. Without timely treatment, her condition may worsen, leading to permanent deformity, growth problems, and lifelong disability, affecting her future development.

The patient, Sakina Akter, aged 3 years, was admitted to Al Manar Hospital on 12th April 2026 with a diagnosis of flat foot and nutritional rickets. She received conservative treatment, including medication and supportive care, and was closely monitored for her condition. After several days of care and treatment, Sakina showed steady improvement and was discharged on 18th April 2026 with advice for continued care at home. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity for the support provided throughout the treatment process, which gave Sakina a chance at recovery and a brighter future.

With timely hospitalization under the orthopedic department and supportive conservative treatment, Sakina Akter’s condition can gradually improve.
