Tanzila Akhter is a gentle and innocent 7-year-old girl living with her widowed mother, Sholeka Khatun, and her elder sister, Lamiya Akhter, in a small tin-shed house under extremely difficult conditions. Since the death of her father, her mother has struggled to support the family with irregular work and small donations, earning only around 1,000–2,000 BDT per month, which makes it impossible to afford medical treatment. Despite her pain, Tanzila remains quiet and brave, relying on her mother and sister for comfort and care after her serious leg injury. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through the staff of Life Care Hospital when they sought help in this desperate situation. If she does not receive timely treatment, the tendon injury may lead to permanent damage, loss of normal movement, and long-term disability, severely affecting her ability to walk, study, and live a normal life.

Tanzila Akhter, a 7-year-old girl, was admitted to the hospital on 18/03/2026 after suffering a serious left leg tendon injury while playing. Due to the severity of the injury, which affected her movement and caused significant pain, doctors decided to proceed with surgical repair to restore the damaged tendon. The procedure was successfully performed, ensuring proper alignment and healing of the injured tendon. Following the surgery, Tanzila received appropriate post-operative care, including medications, antibiotics, and careful monitoring. Gradually, her condition improved, and she began to regain movement in her leg. With continued care and support, she was able to recover steadily during her hospital stay. She was discharged from the hospital on 28/03/2026 in stable condition. Tanzila and her family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the medical team for their timely support and compassionate care, which played a vital role in her recovery and helped her return to a normal life.

With timely surgical repair and proper medical treatment, Tanzila Akhter’s injured tendon can heal properly, allowing her to regain normal movement of her leg and return to her daily activities. Early intervention will reduce the risk of complications such as permanent disability, stiffness, or loss of function. With appropriate post-operative care and rehabilitation, she is expected to recover well. However, if left untreated, the injury may lead to long-term damage, severe mobility limitations, and lifelong difficulty in walking, significantly affecting her future.
