Ahmad Musa is a 15 year old boy from a poor family where parents earn less than 25,000 naira monthly through small-scale trading. Ahmad is a secondary school student in SS2.He is active, cooperative, and enjoys playing football. He also assists his family with daily activities. He dreams of becoming a bank in the future. He was said to have developed progressive urinary symptoms and right-sided abdominal pain.Ahmad had a longstanding history of hematuria consistent with urinary tract infection specifically Schistosomiasis.Few days ago his symptoms worsened over time due to delayed medical attention because his family don't have enough money to take him to the hospital.However,recently he was taken to nearby hospital and assessed.Later,he was referred to UMD medical clinic for treatment.His was seen and evaluated,Radiological Investigations revealed narrowing of the right ureter(Ureteric stricture) due Chronic Schistosomiasis.

Ahmed,a 15 year-old teenager,presented with a history of severe pain in his lower abdomen accompanied difficulty passing urine and occasional vomiting since 2 weeks. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Ureteric stone.He underwent successful surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care.He recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.

He was diagnosed to have right ureteric structure a condition requiring surgical correction with stent. If left untreated, Ahmad will have an irreversible kidney damage because of retention and back pressure. Prognosis is good with early and appropriate treatment.
