Raisa Moni is a cheerful and innocent 5-year-old girl who loves spending time with her parents and grandparents and dreams of starting school in good health. She lives in a five-member family where her father, Abdur Rahim, is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of only BDT 7,000, making it impossible to afford the cost of her medical treatment while meeting the family's daily needs. She has been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, and without timely treatment, the infection could spread to her kidneys and bloodstream, causing kidney damage, severe sepsis, multiple organ failure, and other potentially life-threatening complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital, giving them hope when they had no other way to pay for her treatment.

Raisa Moni was admitted to the hospital on 18 April 2026 after suffering from fever and abdominal pain for four days. Following a thorough medical examination and necessary diagnostic tests, doctors diagnosed her with a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). She received appropriate medical treatment, including antibiotics, supportive care, and close monitoring by the hospital’s medical team. With timely treatment and continuous medical care, Raisa’s condition gradually improved over the following days. Her fever subsided, her abdominal pain decreased, and her overall health began to recover. She responded well to the prescribed treatment and gradually regained her strength and normal activity. Raisa was discharged from the hospital on 23 April 2026 in stable condition. Her family expresses their sincere gratitude to Helpster, its volunteers, and the hospital staff for their generous support and compassionate care, which played an important role in her successful recovery.

With timely administration of appropriate antibiotics and supportive treatment, Raisa’s Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) can be effectively controlled, leading to a gradual reduction in fever and relief from abdominal pain. Proper medical care will help restore her strength, improve her overall health, and prevent further complications. With close monitoring and adherence to the prescribed treatment, the chances of a full recovery are very high. However, if left untreated, the infection may worsen and spread to the kidneys or other parts of the urinary system, resulting in prolonged illness, severe pain, high fever, dehydration, and other serious complications.
