As he was a premature newborn, he required specialized NICU care, where he received oxygen support, antibiotics, seizure management, and close medical observation. Gradually, his condition started to improve with proper treatment, and his breathing became stable while the convulsions and fever were controlled. The treatment plan for Md. Omar Faruk includes initial management in the NICU under close supervision due to prematurity, IUGR, pneumonia, hypocalcemia, and neonatal jaundice. The plan includes oxygen support, IV antibiotics, calcium supplementation, phototherapy, temperature control, feeding support, and continuous monitoring of vital signs and oxygen saturation. If his breathing, feeding, and overall condition improve, doctors plan to shift him from the NICU to a normal pediatric bed for further recovery and observation.
