Alheri Bulus is a 27 year old pregnant woman who was rushed into our facility during labour. All efforts for normal delivery proved abortive, hence she was scheduled for an emergency Cesarean Section. Her Husband Bulus Yakubu is a gardener we who earns 40,000 monthly. They live in a modest family compound in Tudun wada community in Karu local government. Alheri is a jovial woman who loves to make everyone around her laugh she loves making jokes. She also loves reading, singing and cooking. She recently concluded her HND program. She desires to be a very big business owner in the future. Alheri a 27 year old woman, she was in labour and was rushed to the facility. She was then rushed into the labour ward. She was in labour for hours with no meaningful progress. After she was observed the medical team diagnosed her with Cephalopelvic Disproportion with a macrosomia of 4.6 kg. She immediately underwent a Cesarean Section to avoid complications.

Alheri Bulus a 27 year old woman married to one Bulus Umaru. Together they live in a family compound in Tudun wada. The patient husband works as a Gardener and earns 40,000 monthly. The patient was in labour and was rushed into our facility for delivery. However, normal delivery failed due to Cephalopelvic Disproportion. She later underwent an emergency Cesarean Section under general anesthesia which was successful. Upon delivery, the patient lost a lot of blood. She was then transfused and treated with fluids. The baby to was seen to be physiologically jaundiced and was treated with fluids. Both mother and son had so far recovered. They have been discharged and are doing well.

Alheri is diagnosed with Cephalopelvic proportion and macrosomia (very large baby), her pelvis is inadequate to deliver the baby and after having labored for several hours and in fear of complications of uterine rupture, severe postpartum hemorrhage, and deep vaginal tearing, as well as dangerous fetal risks including shoulder dystocia, birth asphyxia, and newborn brain injury. Prognosis - prognosis is excellent for both mother and baby if a timely Cesarean section (C-section) is performed before critical complications occur. However, if delivery is severely delayed, the outlook worsens significantly, risking permanent brain or nerve injury to the newborn and life-threatening trauma or bleeding for the mother.
