Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Marufa Akter is a gentle and hardworking 14-year-old girl who lives with her poor family under difficult financial conditions. Her father, Nur Islam, works as a rickshaw puller and earns only around 8,000 BDT per month, which is not enough to support the six-member family, including her two school-going brothers Ibrahim Khalil and Jalil and her elderly grandfather. During a seasonal outbreak in the area, poor hygiene conditions, use of common toilets, and lack of safe drinking water caused Marufa to develop high fever, severe cough, and abdominal pain, making her condition weaker day by day. Her worried mother took her to Saheda Gafur Ibrahim General Hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with typhoid and admitted her for urgent treatment and close monitoring. Without proper treatment, the infection could become severe and lead to dangerous health complications, but the family is struggling to continue the medical expenses and learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abdur Rahman.
