Md. Mostafiz is a calm and gentle 2-year-old child who lives with his parents, younger brother, and elderly grandparents in a small tin-and-wood house under difficult financial conditions. His father, Mohammad Shipon Kobiraj, works long hours driving a rented auto-rickshaw, earning only around 7,000 BDT per month, which is barely enough to provide food and medicine for the six family members, including his sick elderly father Abdul Khalek Kobiraj and grandmother Nilufa Begum. After Mostafiz accidentally fell from a bed, he developed severe pain and swelling in his shoulder and now cries in discomfort and avoids moving his arm. His loving mother, Munni Akter, feels helpless watching her innocent child suffer because the family cannot afford proper treatment or investigations. Doctors have warned that without timely medical care, the injury could worsen, leading to permanent weakness, deformity, or difficulty using the affected arm normally in the future.

Md. Mostafiz was admitted to the hospital on 23 April 2026 after suffering a painful fracture of his right clavicle caused by a fall. During his hospital stay, doctors provided conservative treatment with proper arm immobilization using an arm sling, pain management, and close medical observation to ensure safe healing of the fractured bone. By the time of his discharge on 24 April 2026, his condition had improved significantly, with reduced pain and swelling, and he was able to move his arm more comfortably. His family is deeply grateful to Helpster Charity, Al Aqsa Hospital, and compassionate volunteers Anowar Hossain Anu and Meghlal Roy for their generous support, kindness, and timely assistance that helped save the child from serious complications and gave him hope for a healthy recovery. The family sincerely thanks everyone involved for standing beside them during this difficult time and bringing relief to their child.

Doctors have advised conservative management with arm immobilization using an arm sling for three weeks to help Mostafiz’s fractured clavicle heal properly. With timely treatment, rest, pain control, and regular follow-up, he is expected to recover well and regain normal movement and strength in his shoulder and arm. Because he is still very young, proper healing is extremely important for his future growth and development. If left untreated, the fractured bone may heal in the wrong position, causing permanent deformity, chronic pain, weakness, and lifelong difficulty using the affected arm. In severe cases, complications such as nerve or blood vessel injury, infection, or breathing difficulties could become life-threatening and seriously affect his future quality of life.
