Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About urology
Abdur Rahman, a 12-year-old boy, has been diagnosed with a right-sided inguinal hernia. This condition occurs when a portion of the intestine pushes through a weak area in the abdominal wall, causing visible swelling that becomes more prominent during coughing or straining. He has been experiencing discomfort and difficulty in movement, which is affecting his daily activities and ability to play. Without proper treatment, the condition may worsen and lead to serious complications, making timely surgical intervention important.
Thank you for saving this life!

Background
Abdur Rahman, a 12-year-old boy, lives with his parents, grandmother, younger brother, and twin sisters in a financially struggling household where his father’s limited income from farming is not enough to meet daily needs, making surgery unaffordable. He is a responsible and caring child who supports his family, studies in class seven, and dreams of a better future despite hardship. Since birth, he has had swelling in his abdomen that has now worsened into a painful inguinal hernia, making it difficult for him to walk, play, or live normally. His parents are deeply worried and feel helpless as they cannot bear the cost of treatment. They sought help through Helpster Charity after learning about it from a health worker, as without timely surgery, his condition may worsen, leading to severe pain, complications, and life-threatening risks.
Medical history
Abdur Rahman, a child from a very poor family, was admitted to our hospital on 04 May 2026 for surgical management of a Right Congenital Inguinal Hernia. After proper evaluation, Hernioplasty was successfully performed under General Anesthesia without any complications. With the support of Helpster Charity and RUDO Hospital, his treatment was completed successfully. After post-operative care and recovery, he was discharged in stable condition with prescribed medications and necessary advice. Alhamdulillah, the child is now recovering well.
Prognosis
With timely right inguinal hernioplasty, Abdur Rahman is expected to recover well as the hernia is repaired and the abdominal wall is strengthened. The surgery will relieve pain, remove the swelling, and allow him to return to normal activities like walking, playing, and attending school. With proper follow-up, he can live a healthy and active life. However, if left untreated, the hernia may become trapped or strangulated, cutting off blood supply to the intestine. This can lead to severe pain, intestinal damage, and life-threatening complications, making timely surgery essential.
