Yeasin Arafat is a bright and determined 8-year-old boy who studies in Class 3 and dreams of a better future despite growing up in poverty with his parents and two siblings. His father works as a daily laborer with an unstable income that is often only enough to provide basic food, making it impossible for the family to afford costly hospital treatment when Yeasin became seriously ill. As severe diarrhea, dehydration, high fever, abdominal pain, and dengue fever weakened him, his worried parents watched helplessly as his condition rapidly deteriorated. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Abu Sayeed while seeking urgent support for his treatment. Without immediate medical care, fluids, medicines, and close monitoring, his severe dehydration and dengue-related complications could become life-threatening and place his young life at serious risk.

Yeasin Arafat, a 08-year-old male child, was admitted on 20.04.2026 with complaints of frequent watery diarrhea (more than 19 episodes within 6 hours), high-grade fever, weakness, lethargy, and severe abdominal cramps causing continuous crying and restlessness. During hospitalization, he was treated with intravenous fluids to correct severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, along with regular monitoring of vital signs and management of fever and abdominal pain under close medical supervision. He remained hospitalized for 4 days and showed gradual clinical improvement with supportive care. The patient was discharged on 24.04.2026 in a stable condition with medications, dietary advice, and follow-up instructions. The treatment expenses were fully supported by Helpster Charity, and the family expresses sincere gratitude to Helpster, its volunteers, and the hospital team for their kind support and care.

Doctor suggested that immediate hospitalization and proper treatment, including fluid and electrolyte correction, the child’s condition is expected to improve significantly, with stabilization of hydration status and reduction of symptoms. Continuous monitoring and supportive care will help manage fever, pain, and prevent further complications related to both diarrhea and dengue fever. Early intervention greatly reduces the risk of life-threatening outcomes and supports a full recovery. However, if left untreated, severe dehydration can lead to shock, organ failure, and even death. Additionally, untreated dengue infection may progress to more serious forms, increasing the risk of bleeding complications and further deterioration of the child’s condition.
