Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections

Habib Hossen, a 9-year-old child, has been diagnosed with adenotonsillitis, a condition causing enlargement and infection of the adenoids and tonsils. For several years, he has been suffering from difficulty breathing through the nose, repeated throat infections, swallowing problems, and discomfort in the throat, which have gradually become more severe. Medical examinations and X-ray findings showed that the enlarged adenoids are narrowing his airway and affecting his normal breathing and daily activities. He is currently under medical evaluation, and doctors have advised surgery to prevent further complications and improve his quality of life.

Thank you for saving this life!

Background

Habib Hossen is a bright, responsible, and hardworking 9-year-old boy who studies in Class One and dreams of becoming a successful cricketer one day. Despite living in poverty, he helps his parents with daily work and spends his free time playing cricket and football with his friends, bringing joy to his family. His father, the only earning member of the family, works as a van driver with a very limited income, which is barely enough to support Habib, his mother, and his school-going sister, making it impossible to afford costly medical treatment. For years, Habib has suffered from breathing difficulty, throat infections, and swallowing problems, and doctors have now advised urgent adenoidectomy with tonsillectomy after finding severe airway blockage caused by enlarged adenoids. Without proper surgery, his breathing problems and infections may become more severe and seriously affect his health and future, but the family found hope after learning about Helpster Charity through a local health worker and receiving support from Dr. Arif.

Medical history

Habib Hossen’s family was financially disadvantaged, and his father was unable to afford the cost of his son’s surgery. He was constantly worried about Habib’s health and deeply concerned about how he would arrange the money needed for his treatment. With the support of Helpster Charity and the medical care provided by RUDO Hosepital, Habib successfully underwent the necessary Adenotonsillectomy. Following the operation, he recovered well and was discharged in stable condition with proper post-operative advice and medications. After his son’s successful treatment, Habib’s father is now extremely happy and relieved. The worries and anxiety he had been carrying for so long have finally eased. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity for standing by his family during their difficult time

Prognosis

According to the doctors, Habib Hossen requires an adenotonsillectomy to remove the enlarged and infected adenoids and tonsils that are causing breathing difficulty, repeated throat infections, and swallowing problems. With proper surgery and medical care, his breathing is expected to improve, throat infections will become less frequent, and he will be able to eat, sleep, study, and play more comfortably. Doctors believe the operation will help him regain a healthier and more active childhood and improve his overall growth and quality of life. However, if the condition is left untreated, the airway blockage and repeated infections may become more severe, leading to serious breathing problems, sleep disturbance, weakness, poor health, and long-term complications.
