Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Ashrifa Jahan Tasfia is a charming and intelligent 7-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a teacher and loves playing with her friends. She lives with her parents and elder brother in a fragile mud-made home where her father, Md. Julfikar, struggles to support the family by pulling a rickshaw and earning only around 6,000 BDT per month, making it impossible to manage surgery and medical expenses. For the past year, Tasfia had been suffering from swelling on both sides of her lower abdomen, and recently the pain became more severe, making it difficult for her to move, play, and live comfortably. Her family came to know about Helpster Charity through a health worker after realizing they could not afford proper treatment at New Evercare Hospital. Without proper treatment and surgery, the hernia may become trapped inside her body, causing severe pain, blockage, loss of blood supply, and life-threatening complications requiring emergency surgery.
Medical history
Ashrifa Jahan Tasfia was admitted on 18.06.2026 with a bilateral inguinal hernia. She underwent a successful herniotomy on the same day to repair the hernias. Following the surgery, she received appropriate medical treatment, regular monitoring, pain management, and attentive nursing care, which supported her smooth recovery. Her postoperative condition remained stable without any complications, and she recovered well. As her condition improved satisfactorily, she was discharged safely on 22.06.2026 with advice for follow-up care and a gradual return to normal activities.
Prognosis
According to the doctors, Ashrifa Jahan Tasfia urgently needs herniotomy surgery to repair the hernia and prevent further complications. With proper surgery and medical care, the swelling and pain are expected to improve, helping her return to a healthy and normal childhood without discomfort. The treatment will also reduce the risk of the hernia becoming trapped inside the body. Without timely surgery, the hernia may become blocked or lose blood supply, causing severe pain, vomiting, serious infection, and life-threatening complications requiring emergency treatment.
