Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Samiha is a 12 y.o. girl who lives with her mom and sister. They used to have a comfortable life when her dad, who ran a business, was around. But her dad has been gone for the last four years, and they don't know where he is. Her mom is working hard to raise her and her sister by doing small jobs like tailoring and selling vegetables. Samiha is studying in the fifth grade at a Madrasha. She enjoys drawing, playing ludo, and local games with her friends. She also helps her mom around the house. Samiha dreams of becoming a doctor one day so she can help people who are poor.

Medical history

Samiha experienced infected tonsils, causing significant swelling and difficulty eating, potentially posing risks for serious health issues. Consequently, she underwent a tonsillectomy to remove them, with doctors utilizing specialized tools to extract the tonsils through her mouth. Following the surgery, Samiha has recovered well and returned to her usual state of health. The hospital staff and her parents are relieved and delighted that the procedure was successful. Dr. Arif visited Samiha after her treatment and found her in good condition, with no complications arising. Samiha can now smile again, eat without discomfort, and focus on her studies without the distraction of pain. Samiha's mother, Mrs. Taslima, expressed her immense relief, recounting the challenges her daughter faced with constant pain and fever affecting her eating, sleeping, and studying. Despite financial constraints, she is deeply grateful to Helpster Charity and RUDO Hospital for their professional care. With her daughter now living a pain-free life, Mrs. Taslima feels a sense of calm and gratitude.

Prognosis

Samiha Sinha has a type of lymphoid tissue or swelling of lymphoid tissue on both sides of the throat which we call tonsils. Due to repeated infection and enlarged tonsils, there is difficulty in taking food and pain, fever, after taking antibiotic drugs and infection, it is now need to operation. If the operation is not done, tonsils will develop various complex diseases, which are life threatening for the patient. During this surgery, the patient will be operation under complete unconsciousness. I expect the patient to return to his normal life within 2-3 days after the operation.
