Most. Jisa is a calm and determined 10-year-old girl who lives with her parents and her elder sister, Firoza, in a family of four, dreaming of becoming a doctor one day. Her father is the family's only earning member, working as a hawker with a monthly income of approximately BDT 6,000, which is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, leaving the family unable to afford the cost of hospitalization, diagnostic tests, medicines, and ongoing treatment. After learning about Helpster Charity through a health worker, the family sought assistance in the hope of helping Jisa recover and return to school. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they cannot continue her treatment without financial support. Without timely treatment, typhoid fever may lead to severe dehydration, intestinal bleeding or perforation, bloodstream infection (sepsis), shock, multi-organ failure, and other life-threatening complications that could put Jisa's life at serious risk.

Most. Jisa was admitted on 12.04.2026 with a diagnosis of typhoid fever. Upon admission, she was placed under close medical observation and started on appropriate antibiotic therapy along with supportive care, including intravenous fluids, fever management, and nutritional support. Continuous monitoring was carried out to assess her progress and ensure early detection of any complications. With proper medical management and dedicated nursing care, her condition gradually improved. Her fever reduced, appetite returned, and overall weakness decreased significantly. She responded well to the treatment and showed steady recovery throughout her hospital stay. As her condition became stable and satisfactory, she was discharged on 17.04.2026 in a safe and improved condition.

The doctor has recommended immediate hospital admission for Most. Jisa so she can receive proper hydration, feeding, and other supportive care. With timely treatment, her weakness will improve, and she will have a strong chance of making a full recovery. Supportive therapy will help her body regain strength and prevent further complications. However, if left untreated, serious complications such as intestinal perforation, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, seizures, meningitis, and myocarditis may occur. Without urgent care, this condition could become life-threatening for such a young child.
