Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Arisha is a 1-year-old female child who has been diagnosed with Enteric Fever, a serious bacterial infection that commonly causes prolonged fever, weakness, poor appetite, vomiting, and digestive problems. The illness has left her physically weak and unable to eat and drink properly, affecting her overall health and well-being. Due to her young age, she is especially vulnerable to complications from infection and dehydration.

Background
Arisha is a 1-year-old girl whose family hopes to see her grow up healthy and happy. She lives with her family in a small house, where financial hardship makes it difficult to meet daily needs and impossible to afford medical treatment. When Arisha developed high fever, a rash, vomiting, and frequent diarrhea, she became very weak and stopped eating and drinking properly. Without timely treatment, her condition could worsen and lead to serious health problems that may threaten her life. Worried about her condition, the family sought help from Helpster Volunteer Abu Sayeed, who connected them with Helpster Charity for medical support.
Medical history
Afra, a 12-month-old female child, was admitted on 10.04.2026 with complaints of high-grade fever, cough, sore throat, severe earache, breathing difficulty, abdominal pain, weakness, lethargy, irritability, poor appetite, and reduced oral intake. Following clinical evaluation and necessary investigations, she was diagnosed with Enteric Fever. On admission, she appeared weak and exhausted due to the prolonged illness. During her hospital stay, she received appropriate treatment including antibiotics, antipyretics, hydration therapy, nutritional support, and other supportive medications under close medical supervision. Her vital signs and overall condition were monitored regularly throughout hospitalization. Gradually, her fever subsided, respiratory symptoms improved, ear pain decreased, and her appetite and activity level returned toward normal. After 01 day of inpatient treatment and successful recovery without any major complications, she was discharged on 11.04.2026 in stable condition with prescribed medications, dietary advice, and follow-up instructions. All treatment expenses were supported by Helpster Charity.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, Arisha has a good chance of recovery if she receives timely hospitalization, parenteral antibiotics, and supportive treatment. The treatment will help control the infection, reduce her fever, improve her ability to eat and drink, and gradually restore her strength and overall health. As she recovers, she will be able to continue her normal growth and development without the burden of ongoing illness. However, if left untreated, the infection could spread and become more severe, leading to worsening weakness, dehydration, and other serious complications
