Mohammad Yasin is a precious 20-day-old baby boy and the first child of his parents, Mainuddin and Fatema Akter, who live with their elderly parents in a poor household in Algi village of Noakhali. His father works as a mason and earns only around 8,500 BDT per month, which is barely enough to support the five-member family and impossible to manage the high cost of NICU care, medicines, and specialized follow-up treatment. Mohammad Yasin was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on April 12, 2026, at 10:13 PM to treat critical birth complications. He underwent an intensive 18-day stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where he received advanced respiratory stabilization, multiple targeted antibiotic courses, and five blood product transfusions to combat severe sepsis and brain distress. Thanks to this comprehensive care, his acute kidney injury and neonatal jaundice were completely resolved, allowing him to be safely discharged in a stable condition on May 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM. While his immediate recovery progress is highly encouraging, he is now continuing his treatment plan through specialized home medications and vital upcoming pediatric cardiology checkups to monitor his congenital heart health.

According to the doctors, Mohammad Yasin urgently requires continued NICU support, specialized medical care, medicines, and close monitoring because of his critical condition after birth. With proper treatment and regular follow-up, his breathing, infection, jaundice, heart condition, and overall health may gradually improve, giving him a better chance to survive and grow normally. Doctors are carefully monitoring him to reduce the risk of further complications affecting his brain, heart, kidneys, and breathing.
