Muntaha Akter is a gentle and playful 1.5-year-old girl who is deeply loved by her parents and elder sister, Maisha Akter. Her father, Motibur Rahman, works as a packing assistant in a pharmaceutical company and earns only around 7,000 BDT per month, which is barely enough to support the family’s daily expenses, leaving them unable to afford costly emergency treatment and specialized tests like a CT scan. After a sudden fall on a wet floor while being carried by her sister, Muntaha became seriously ill with repeated vomiting, high fever, and breathing difficulty, leaving the entire family terrified and helpless. Her mother, Zakia Akter Hasi, cried constantly beside her child, while relatives and neighbors tried to collect money for her treatment as doctors referred her to a specialized neuro-support hospital for urgent care. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through volunteer Dr. Touhid, and without timely treatment, Muntaha could face severe brain injury, breathing complications, permanent disability, or even life-threatening

Muntaha Akter, a 1.5-year-old child, went through a frightening experience after her accidental fall, which left her with serious symptoms like vomiting, fever, and breathing difficulty. On 29th April, she was admitted to a specialized hospital where doctors immediately began careful observation and necessary investigations, including a CT scan, to rule out any major brain injury. With timely medical intervention, proper medication, and continuous monitoring under expert care, her condition gradually started to improve. During her hospital stay, Muntaha responded well to treatment, and her symptoms slowly subsided. The medical team ensured she received all necessary support, while her family remained by her side, anxiously hoping for her recovery. Within a short period, her health showed significant improvement, and she became stable and active again. By 1st May, after thorough evaluation, the doctors were satisfied with her progress and discharged her in a much healthier condition.

According to the treating doctor, Muntaha Akter requires immediate IV fluids, medicines, and continuous monitoring to control her vomiting, fever, breathing difficulty, and possible complications after the head injury. With timely treatment and close observation, she is expected to recover gradually and return to her normal healthy and playful life. However, if left untreated, her condition may worsen rapidly and lead to severe brain complications, unconsciousness, breathing failure, permanent disability, or even life-threatening consequences.
