Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections

Sadique Hossain Noyon has been diagnosed with a severe tubercular neck abscess with high-grade fever, a serious infection that caused painful swelling on the right side of his neck. Over time, the swelling gradually became larger, and later burst with pus discharge, causing severe pain, weakness, and high fever with chills. Background

Nineteen-year-old Sadique Hossain Noyon lives with his parents and two sisters, Jannat Akter Lipi and Amena Akter Liza, in a small rented shelter in the overcrowded CCR Camp in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. His father, Md. Sanny, works as a rickshaw puller and earns only around 9,000 BDT per month, which is barely enough for food and rent, leaving the family unable to afford expensive medical treatment. Sadique is a hopeful and hardworking young man who dreams of becoming a computer technician, but his condition became serious after a swelling on his neck gradually enlarged, burst with pus, and caused high fever and severe weakness. Doctors diagnosed him with a tubercular neck abscess and warned that without urgent treatment, the infection could spread further and become life-threatening. During this difficult time, the family learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp organized in Geneva Camp, which became their hope for Sadique’s treatment and recovery.

Medical history

With Helpster's urgent financial backing, Sadique was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on May 2, 2026, at 12:47 PM. Following a three-day hospital stay, his essential neck surgery—consisting of an incision, drainage, and a lymph node biopsy—was successfully performed under anesthesia on May 4, 2026, at 6:40 PM. He was safely discharged the very next day on May 5, 2026, with an optimized plan for post-operative recovery, pain management, and healing ointments. Sadique is now safely resting at home in stable condition, relieved of his agonizing fever and severe physical suffering as he awaits his critical follow-up review.

Prognosis

According to the doctors, Sadique Hossain Noyon requires urgent treatment, including drainage of the pus, regular wound dressing, medicines, and further testing to confirm whether tuberculosis is present. With proper treatment and close monitoring, the infection, fever, pain, and swelling can gradually improve, helping him recover and return to a healthier life. Doctors are carefully observing his condition to prevent the infection from spreading further and causing more serious complications. If he does not receive timely treatment, the infection may worsen rapidly, causing severe pain, continued pus discharge, extreme weakness, spread of infection to other parts of the body, and other life-threatening complications that could seriously endanger his life.
