She lives with her husband, young daughter, and parents, as the family's financial hardship has forced them to stay at her parental home. Her husband works as a day laborer, and his limited income is barely enough to cover food and daily necessities, making the cost of specialized pregnancy care and delivery beyond the family's means. Doctors have found that her baby is in a breech position, which increases the risk of complications during childbirth and requires careful medical management. Without timely treatment and proper delivery care, both Moon and her unborn baby could face serious complications during labor, placing their lives and well-being at risk.
Medical history
Most. Mahfuza Akter Moon was admitted to the hospital on May 10, 2026 with a diagnosis of Breech presentation and Previous history of C-section. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn remained in good condition and were discharged on May 15, 2026. Upon discharge, father and mother came to the hospital to receive both the mother and the newborn. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their dedicated treatment and continuous support throughout the process. Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, LUCS (Lower Uterine Caesarean Section) is the safest option for Moon because her baby is in a breech position, which can make a normal delivery dangerous for both mother and child. The surgery is expected to ensure a safer delivery, reduce the risk of birth-related complications, and protect the health of both the mother and her unborn baby. Timely intervention is especially important because Moon is unable to communicate her symptoms effectively due to her mental disability, making close medical supervision essential. If left untreated or if delivery is delayed, there is a significant risk of obstructed labor, fetal distress, severe bleeding, injury to the baby, and other life-threatening complications.
